Lazy Admins

Discuss about how being a lazy admin can affect a forum and other effects of being lazy.

There is some admins who are lazy. That's what this topic is to discuss about.

like who ? if an admin was inactive he have a good reason

I have no idea... but I don't think you are getting the point of this topic. There is lazy people out there who don't put enough effort into their forums.

If you have a lazy admin, you have a lazy and slow forum.

I feel like a lazy admin, yet I have put a lot of my energy into my boards, especially in threads and tutorials and a decent enough layout and buttons.

It turns me off to see forums open to public that not only have the default layout but that haven't even edited the "your first thread" examples.

Yes, they really can put you down but I haven't meet any one yet and I hope not xD

Simple thing, if your a lazy admin, don't expect your forum to go very far.

Honestly if i went on vacation i would have someone cover for me, but it's different if someone is "lazy". If you are going to be a lazy admin, just don't bother. *shrug*

Generally, there are 2 kinds of admins:
The Owner/Head Administrator & the Co-Administrators (what you call technicians,assistant admin etc...)
If you're a lazy admin on your own forum, then the forum won't have higher chance to survive for even a month(if you're still starting).

I also don't like having Co-admins that are lazy if, like you've been doing all the job like creating new announcements, deducting credits(when you have this shop system like on advertisement forums etc.), keeping the forum active, etc.... When in fact it's their job or it's their duty to assist the founder of the forum on those cases. It just feels you're the only one doing the works on the forum.

If you're a lazy admin that means you don't think the forum is going to live because you're not doing anything to make it better

Lazy people simply cannot be administrators.

I dealt with one. My cousin. I was main admin, but he had the founder account... And Mr Lazy didn't do anything. He's got less than 50 posts while I have over 300. He got to 40 posts in three months! Yay! :wowo:

I only get "lazy" or classed as it, when I have exams or when I am ill...

If the admin is lazy and doesnt puts enough in his forum, why did he started one then?

Theres people who just make the forum. There to lazy to edit there username so it isn't Admin anymore. They don't feel like fixing the skin or adding the banner. They don't orangnize the Forums. I could go on and on...

I only have one or two admins on any of my forums because then theres lees chance of them being lazy as i only make people I absolutly trust to be admins beacuse i know they won't be lazy

I dislike lazy admins. My forum had a lazy FOUNDER, but he recently left, and gave the site to me, though he is still credited as founder. :|

I had a lazy admin, before he quit. It was very annoying and bugged me.
