Stupid Admins

Have you ever dealt with stupid admins?

There was this one time I was banned just for affiliating with the admin's forum.

There's this forum that I go to and the admin can't even talk properly.

lol Well I haven't met any yet..

I remember one, that might fit this, he banned a member because he rejected the moderation offer that was given. Even though he did politely and had a pretty good reasoning for it.

Banned someone for not wanting to be a moderator has been one of the stupidest actions I've witnessed in my navigation through online communities.

lol that problem happen to me too xD ... i was joking with the founder i said you are n***b he banned me xD we was joking but his little brain said to him to ban me lol xD

I have met a few, and when i do meet them i tend to try and stay as far away from them and their forum as possible.

By 'stupid', what exactly do you mean? They can be 'stupid' in making the wrong decisions, or being 'stupid' intelletually. I've seen and came across both types.

I'd like to hear your experiences with both kinds of admins .

I have, well not so much stupid admins as it was stupid mods and even stupider package staff. I have to spell it out for some that my forum is not a Twilight forum, even though I had mentioned as such, and went into full detail as to what my forum is about in the actual topic itself.

Every single time that I requested a package from this forum I had to do this every time, and to make matters worse, I have had to post a tutorial for them on how to register on the forum because they weren't smart enough to do so on their own.

The last time I had to use a screenshot to point out the off topic area because one staff member said that I didn't have an off topic section, and said they had read the board descriptions like I suggested.. and another promptly rejected the request and locked the topic 2 minutes later, DESPITE the fact that you are given 24-48 hours to respond to them. This time I had to use screenshots once again, this time pointing out the off topic section they said I didn't have.

I know somebody who deletes his Forum and makes his knew one either if he doesn't like his Forum, or people haven't posted within 24 hours.

I also know somebody who bans members who are inactive.

I haven't so far as the forums I go to are well administrated/moderated.

Ive met one, he thought that by banning members that would encorage memebers to post, to try and stay on the forum, he expected 20 posts a day and there was about 7 forums to post in with about 5 topics in each. But you couldn't make new topics

I've met a fair few. They are the worst thing you can get. There may be a forum that is crawling with activity, yet it only has one admin. The admin doesn't do anything right = loses activity.

I have yet to meet a stupid administrator, I have met some stupid moderators though if that counts .

I have yet to meet a dumb admin. I have been with some pretty stupid mods and other various staff though
